We are happy to present the seventh edition of Pediatric Nephrology. This book was first published in 1994, and the last revision was in 2016. The initial editions aimed to fulfill the need for a short text to help pediatricians in Asia manage children with disorders of kidney and urinary tract, and orient those with greater commitment towards the field of nephrology. These editions were received with enthusiasm and led to gradual expansion of its contents. Thus, over three decades, the ‘handbook’ has grown from 229 pages to its present size of approximately 850 pages.
